Paragraph Environment Pollution

The elements of our surroundings such as air, water, soil, weather, climate, etc. all make up our environment. If the natural relationships among these elements are disturbed, the ecological balance is hampered and this is termed environmental pollution. Our environment is polluted in many ways. Man makes fire for various purposes. This fire produces smoke and smoke pollutes the air. Again railway engines, mills, factories, buses, cars, and trucks also emit smoke and cause air pollution. Water, another vital element of the environment, is also polluted for various reasons. Chemical fertilizers and insecticides, filth and waste products of mills and factories are responsible for water pollution. Again, steamers, launches and even boats throw waste into in the rivers and pollute water. Further, the horns of vehicles and the sound of the machines of mills and factories cause sound pollution. All these types of pollution have harmful effects on humans, animals, and plant. Air pollution causes different respiratory diseases and water pollution causes water-borne diseases. Sound pollution affects the capacity of our hearing. Again pollution causes an ecological imbalance that brings about different types of disasters. So, we should keep the environment pollution-free so that we can ensure a safe abode for ourselves and the generation to come.

Any abnormal change of environment in chemical, physical and biological characteristics in environment is called environment pollution. Environment is the whole system of our existence. Smoke from motor vehicles also pollutes environment. Serious environment pollution occurs in big cities because buses, trucks and cars play in the streets everyday and emit smoke. Mills and factories also pollute water. They throw their waste products into rivers and canals. By burning wood and melting pitch for road construction people make more smoke and pollute air. We use pesticide in our crop fields. It also pollutes our environment. Indiscriminate cutting of trees has also turned unbalanced environment. The ecological balance is being lost as a result of environment pollution. If we all desire to live a healthy and tranquillized life, we should make our environment clean and free from pollution. We should be all whole-heartedly in keeping our environment fit for habitation.    

Paragraph Load Shedding

Load shedding means the discontinuation of supply of electricity. Load shedding occurs when generation of power is less than the demand and also for unplanned distribution of electricity. Now-a-days load shedding is almost a daily occurrence in cities, towns, suburbs and even in villages. There is hardly any area, which is not affected by it. Cinema houses, shops, factories, hospitals are all affected by it. The industrial units are paralysed for the time being. Production is hampered due to failure of electricity. Even operations stop in hospitals for load shedding. The students close their books and sit idly in darkness. Thus, load shedding causes much harm to academic activities, diminishing the academic standard. They curse the authorities especially if electricity fails before their examination. During load shedding people’s life on the street becomes insecure too. The further hazard is that the monthly bill of electricity never shows any sign of reduction even though there has been frequent load shedding over the whole month. The whole country is bound to collapse if the present condition of load shedding is not improved. So the government should think over the matter deeply and take necessary steps to check it as early as possible.

The insufficient production of electricity is the main reason of it. Misuse and illegal connection of electricity are the other reasons of it. It occurs mostly at night because the demand of electricity is more than in the daytime. The bad effects of load shedding are beyond description. It creates problem in the socio-economic development of the country. Mills and factories, shops, hospitals etc. become paralyzed due to load shedding. The sufferings of the students know no bounds. They sit in the darkness closing their books during the load shedding. They suffer a lot of if it occurs in the time of their examination. The patients also suffer terribly because operation stops in hospitals for load shedding. Load shedding at night also encourages the thieves. However, this problem should be solved at any cost. The concerned authority must take necessary steps to stop it. More power stations should be established. Illegal connection and system loss should also be stopped. After all, there is no alternative to be conscious about the misuse of electricity.

A school magazine is an annual publication of a school. It contains the literary writings of the students and the teachers. It is a forum through which our young learners can get the opportunity to express the green ideas of their mind. It is published every year with an interesting and significant title almost all aspects of the school are reflected in it. It is an in an important milestone of the progress and prospect of a school. A school magazine generally contains poems, Short stories, Essays, one-act plays, jokes, and report of cultural activities of the school. Usually, there is a magazine commerce in a school for publishing a magazine. A teacher is usually given the charge of guiding the work of publication. A group of students works together with much encouragement. The headmaster is the chief patron of the magazine. The magazine editor at first invites writings on different subject forms the student. After proper scrutiny of the collected writings for the magazine, the editor selects good ones and sends them to press for printing. The school authority bear the total expenditure of publication. The school magazine can help the students to develop their latent faculties as well as their power of thinking and writing. Infect, the school magazine is the first stepping stone for the future writers. A young learner really feels proud and happy when he finds his writing in the magazine.

The Headmaster of the school is the president of the committee. He inspires us to submit our writings. An English teacher is the adviser. It also contains the message of the headmaster. Mainly students write for this magazine. Some teachers write also for it. Paragraph Water Pollution

Water can be polluted in many ways. Farmers use chemical fertilizers in their fields to get better crops. Again they use insecticides that damage crops. These elements are washed away into rivers,canals and ponds. They get mix with water and pollute it. Sometimes Mills and factories pollute water by throwing their waste materials into the rivers and canals and ponds . Steamers, motor, launches and even sail boats can pollute water by throwing oil, food waste and human waste into the rivers and canals. Unsanitary latrines in the countryside standing on the bank of rivers and canals also pollute water. The kutcha drains running into the rivers and canals cause water pollution. Clean water is safe for us and polluted water is harmful for us. We should prevent water pollution in order to keep good health.

Water is a major component of our environment. It is so important for human existence that it is often called ‘life’. We need pure water to drink and for everyday domestic purpose. But polluted water is harmful for human body. Water is being polluted continually by human beings in many ways. Farmers use chemicals, fertilizers and insecticides in their fields. Those toxic chemicals get mixed with water of the rivers, canals and ponds through rain and flood. Thus the surface water resource is polluted badly. Again mills and factories throw their toxic  chemical waste into rivers and canals. In rural areas sanitary latrines and drains standing on the river banks are also responsible for water pollution. The villagers often throw the dead bodies of animals and rotten plants in the river which add to water pollution. Steamers and motor launches pollute water by dumping oil and throwing dumps into water. By drinking polluted water people get affected with various water born diseases. Cholera, dysentery etc break out in an epidemic form. The government should not allow mills and factories to discharge chemical waste indiscriminately. Public awareness should be raised. We should train people how to keep water pure and clean. We should always remember that pure water is essential for our life. Through proper management of waste we can minimize the rate of water pollution.

Paragraph Air Pollution

Air is an important element of the environment which we cannot see but which we inhale for survival. Air pollution means the air containing the elements which arc harmful for human health. Unfortunately this life saving element is polluted in various ways. Hundreds of motor vehicles plying on the roads are producing a lot of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide getting mixed with the air pollutes it, Again smoke is produced when we make fire for cooking foods, burning bricks and other domestic purposes. In the time of melting pitch for road construction a huge black smoke is bleached out. Mills and factories emit a lot of smoke all day long. This is why pollution is acute in big cities and industrial areas. Burning of petrol and diesel oil also produce smoke. Besides, throwing the everyday domestic dumps in open spaces causes air pollution. When air is grossly polluted it causes various respiratory diseases to human beings. Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Asthma are common in mass people because of air pollution. So, air pollution must be checked for our happy existence on this earth. To prevent buses and truck from emitting black smoke government should apply strict rules. Unfit vehicles must be removed from the road. Various social and non-government organizations should come forward to address this problem. Clean air is essential for life but polluted air is harmful. We must keep our environment free from pollution to live a happy, healthy and peaceful life.
